Zach Searcy

Zach Searcy is the Director of Fleet Content at Fleetio, where he leads a team dedicated to creating practical, insightful resources for fleet professionals. Since joining the company in 2021, Zach has overseen the development of cornerstone content like the Fleet Manager’s Manual and Guide for Managing Maintenance, and he hosts The Fleet Code podcast, where he interviews fleet leaders to surface actionable tips and industry-tested wisdom.

Zach brings nearly two decades of experience in the fleet and equipment space, from high school summers spent in an equipment parts warehouse to managing communities for an electric utility truck manufacturer. Since he was a child, his father has overseen parts, service and rental for a heavy equipment dealer – giving Zach an early connection to the challenges fleet professionals face every day. His work has been featured in publications such as Automotive Fleet, EC&M, and C&R Magazine, and he’s shared his perspective on fleet trends and technology at industry events hosted by NAFA, Utility Fleet Professional and FleetOwner.
